Los Portale`s Mexican Restaurant in Jackson

We always love the searing fajitas and taco salad. It's flavorful and great. Tonight we had all taco's.....most bland taco's we ever had. No taco flavor on the meat at all. Taco bell, and homemade taco's are better. I'm not sure if they're skimping on flavor because of the virus, or just can't make a taco taste like a taco. May as well eat a tortilla with nothing in it

So incredibly rude and in the 3 times I've gone this year, they can't get an order correct at the table. Honestly, the one by Union is so much nicer and the food actually tastes fresh!

The food is great and fast service. For two or groups either way your experience is great.

Great, chips, salsa, queso and food. Service was a little slow . I gave 4 stars because I've had better margaritas. However the top shelf margarita is tasty, just not the best I've had. I definitely will come back. It's nice and clean inside as well.

Had takeout. Ordered in store. Very fast getting it out to me. The to-go portion size was great! All the trimmings include! 2 thumbs up!!👍👍

The food was good, i suppose to have gotten a chimichangas with rice and bean, got my plate no rice, which was ok, i wouldn't eaten all anyway.

Horrible!!! The food was cold when they bought it out. Suppose to had refried beans with the meal...NO refried beans. 13 dollars for cold and missing food. Will NOT go back.

It's usually pretty good but this time and the last time. Was absolutely horrible. Food was awful. Service not much better.

They know me personally because I go there so much, they always make sure your drinks an chips are full, the manager is really cool. The food is great an always fast. If I could make a suggestion though, yall use to have more seasoning on the chicken that comes with the polo loco. Other than that I give yall 5 stars. Yall kno who it is, white man that comes in by himself sometimes, w different girls, my lil girl, an my grandmother an I come in alot. Keep up the good work, jus try to put a little more seasoning on the chicken, it a bit plane now days.

Love the food need more customer service

Very tasty Tex-Mex, served in generous portions and with all possible speed. Perfect for a quick lunch break - it's entirely possible to be in and out in less than half an hour. Very reasonable prices given the portion size.

Los Portales has several locations in Jackson. This one is conveniently located off of Interstate 40. It is smaller than the others but the food and service is very good.

Good food they were quick and nice staff.

First place my wife and I every ate together was Los Portables in Union City, so it's always nice to eat at another one together, they're all good!

This store didn't have guacamole or tomatoes for the fajitas. REALLY? The owner said it was too expensive.... go figure

I usually give 5 stars upon my visit but this time I had to give 3 stars. This time the chicken was cooked to long and it was very small and very thin, it was tough to eat. Everything else was fine and the service was good.

I love this Los Portales. I never have to wait for a seat and my food always comes out quickly. The food itself is delicious and not overpriced.

I have been here 4 times and every time I felt great, I cant find anything bad to say about this restaurant or it's owners. The staff is polite and attentive, the food is "very mexican", so if you are into mexican food, I recommend to pay them a visit, you wont be dissapointed.

The waitress brought me the wrong beer and had an attitude with me trying to tell me that's what I ordered! I believe I would know what I ordered! The food was absolutely horrendous on top of the fact she also brought me the wrong food I ordered tamales and chimichanga and she brought me quesadilla. The quesadilla tasted like boiled chicken the water was still pouring out of it there was barely any cheese and it was made like a taco so when they folded it together the cheese was on one side and the chicken on another the tamale was hard and crunchy which I I have never had my entire life! Tamales are not supposed to be hard I believe it was possibly under a heat lamp. And to top it off nicely the bathroom in the women's handicap area looked like there was poo poo on the walls! Also one more thing is when we got our food she forgot to give us our utensils.

My wife and I are regulars at this location and we only have positive things to say about Los Portales in general. This particular location g=has the best specials and by far the best pricing. The food is always fresh, quick and never disappoints. I would highly recommend this particular location the next time you want to have Mexican food for lunch or dinner. The take out process is also a easy process, but don't forget to buy extra chips.
